Hi there! Welcome to my blog!  I am a 3rd year high-school student from Don Bosco School Manila. In my blog you will get to read my ideas and opinions about why it is more fun in the Philippines. I used the topic proving to write my blog, which I learned from my subject geometry because I think that it would be a more creative way of writing. Hope you’ll enjoy reading it!

1. Filipinos are hospitable.
 Filipinos have that natural trait that is very welcoming, from our families to the tourists. Filipinos always have a bright and shinning smile on their faces which warms up the hearts of many.


2. Friendly and cheerful people. 
Smiles has no price here in the Philippines, even in the middle of hardships we still find endless reasons to overcome them with our positive point of view. J






3. Beautiful places. 
The Banaue Rice Terraces was once part of the 7 wonders of the world and now the Underground River of Puerto Prinsesa was recently a part of it. From the picturesque view of the different islands up to the beautiful beaches in Boracay, we manage to preserve these beauties because we take care of God’s gift to our country. Such places have made our country proud in many ways which are now known from different parts of the world.



4. Catholic country. 
I can say that Filipinos are very well knowledgeable especially when it comes to values and moralities. By being one of the Religious and Catholic countries we have been guided deeply into our Christian Faith, we have become educated in choosing right from wrong and uphold God’s teachings for others.




5. Cultural Traditions. 
Festivals here in the Philippines reflect the sacredness of Traditions practiced even from the early times. They deepen the creativity and importance of the Filipino qualities. Shown in Fiestas, Our tradition of Simbang Gabi, and other celebrations which are only found here in the Philippines. 






6. Talented People.  
We Filipinos love to sing, especially during occasions, one example is the “Karaoke”. It has been a custom for us for many years bringing simple joy to every Filipino occasion. Even in the world of Artists, brilliant singers dancers and actors surround the Philippines. Some people have made our country proud using these gifts, such as Manny Pacquiao (internatonal boxer) and Jessica Sanchez (world class singer) and many more. It just goes to show that we Filipinos can be the best among the rest by using our own talents.





7. Respect for the elders and parents. 
“Po” and “Opo”, two words that you can only hear in the Philippines. We use these words as a sign of respect to the elders or to our parents. We also practice the “mano po” it is when we take the hands of our parents of the elders and put them close to our foreheads.These traditions make us stand out from the rest and make us unique. These qualities also show that we have great respect for the elders, our parents and the people around us.
